While producing the Clearly Contacts television commercial featuring local hockey hero Trevor Linden, we decided that, in the avoidance of cliché , we could either refer very lightly to his hockey career, or go all out and poke fun at athlete endorsements as a whole. So... we decided to do both.
The 00:30 television spot allowed Trevor to show his post-hockey class as the Clearly Contacts spokesman, while this series of leaked "behind the scenes" footage destined for the online space allowed him to flex his acting muscles and poke a little fun at bad celebrity endorsements.
